Take a look at this.

Note the date created was 7/15/2004.  What did they know then that we should know now?  I mean those of us here obviously have a clue but for the american sheeple in general, they don't.  Kool-aid anyone?

NightmarePatrol:
Obviously there was some insight there given that he hadn't even been elected to the senate when the name was registered. Kinda makes me scratch my head...

lifefeedsonlife:
Is there one for impeach McCain or Clinton or Kucinich though? I can't rmember when the Dem convention was in '04, but that's when he was "chosen" I believe.

gore range:
.....sour grapes....

....there was a fair amount of animosity still floating around following the Senator's very first election-

"... In his first race for office, seeking a state Senate seat on Chicago's gritty South Side in 1996, Obama effectively used election rules to eliminate his Democratic competition.

As a community organizer, he had helped register thousands of voters. But when it came time to run for office, he employed Chicago rules to invalidate the voting petition signatures of three of his challengers.

The move denied each of them, including incumbent Alice Palmer, a longtime Chicago activist, a place on the ballot. It cleared the way for Obama to run unopposed on the Democratic ticket in a heavily Democrat district..."

NightmarePatrol:
Ah, so the name was most likely for a state impeachment rather than a federal one. I'll bet that one goes up for auction next year!
