MEADVILLE -- A Titusville doctor has pleaded no contest to charges he molested 13 female patients from 2004 to January 2006.

Dr. Khanh Nguyen Vu, 42, an osteopathic physician and surgeon, pleaded no contest to three consolidated counts of indecent assault, a second-degree misdemeanor. In exchange, the prosecution dropped charges of harassment.

With the plea, which was entered before Crawford County Judge Anthony Vardaro on Monday, Vu chose not to contest allegations he inappropriately touched 13 female patients during visits to his offices in Titusville and Townville and once at the Titusville Hospital.

Titusville Area Hospital officials revoked his staff privileges in April 2006 after receiving a complaint about Vu's conduct.
