Military set to ban smoking altogether?

Well according to this article the US military is considering phasing out tobacco use over the next five to ten years.

I agree. They can volunteer to protect their asses but they can't enjoy their cigs? Come on...... Pick your smoke free areas and say you can't smoke while doing these classifications of jobs or whatever if that's what you need to do but leave people alone in their free time! I doubt it will happen.

Well - they could implement a Smoke and Trade system wherein you could have one of your cardiovascularly superior friends give you some of their wheeze credits thus allowing you to smoke more. (OK - that one's a bit of a stretch.)
