(Sigh) Here we go again...If there is any common sense left in the world (or at least in Harrisburg), this proposal will go down in flames just as the others have.

I have been involved in this and attended meetings in Sharon and Grove City College on this. We are beginning to sound like Ohio... Keep the taxes on the ballot ...everytime and eventually......

The arguments against could not be more clear.... each and EVERY TIME. But... the Commission keeps finetuning their request with every turndown. This last time is that not enough information was supplied meaning a rethink on the actual value of I-80.

This request has been fought at the LOCAL, STATE and FEDERAL level and the powers that be seem to NOT LISTEN. I have written, emailed and talked to my legislators as well as the players on the other team. I know I am NOT alone but.... don'tcha think there is a real need for mass applications of Glasses and Hearing Aides? ???

Local businesses along the corridor have sent in exhaustive reports on the impact to their factories, Small Businesses and warehouses. This makes me wonder why HARLEY DAVIDSON may move out of York and possibly south. It was a plan for their dealerships/Warehouses to move close enough to I-80 in order to supply their York Product more efficiently. If tolls are added... it will not be good for business. Howe Industry in Grove City and even Anderson Bus line as well as trucking firms say NO!!!!

We have a thug Governor who wants higher state(Commonwealth) tax, tolled interstates and even more giveaway programs. He owes 77,000  state employees who are owed back wages and has used this as another hostage item to get what he wants. Turnips only give up so much "blood".
