I personally miss Sandy's Market and wish someone would put another like it, in it's place.   The place won't go up for sale on the market until they sell off all the gasoline.   If Sandy would drop the price of the gas, maybe they could do that.

I have yet to see a car pumping gas from there but there is still gas in the tanks.

Does anyone know if Tim Hortons is still planning on building down the street @ the Howick Motors place?

I not only miss Sandy's but I miss the Lil' Quality that was on North St.  >:(  and now since they have change practically the whole store around in the Downtown Quality it is a pain in the  :shakeass:  trying to find anything. I went in there today for 3 items and it took me 15 minutes to try and locate them just because the asiles are not even marked properly yet. The only grocery store open in downtown on a Sunday and that really S**ks... Anybody else with me on this?

I seldom shop @ Quality now because I just don't care for that store.    I did like the one on North St much better except for the slow cashiers......geeze.

Slow cashiers?  ..lol... The downtown Quality has one of the slowest cashiers this side of the Allegheny and I do mean SLOW...Anyways I kind of like Walmart. Not bad prices, but for me to drive 8 miles for a few items just isnt worth the trip. When I stock up on groceries I then will make the trip out..

Don't forget Otters. That bar was GREAT for local music on North St. Ron Growert (sp?) was awesome when it came to supporting local bands. I miss him. He was a good fellow.

Gator - I know what cashier you speak of 0 that's funny. The WalMart has a few 'slower' folks too. Although some are just kinda chatty. Some folks like chatty. I'd rather have some teutonic ice queen that's efficient myself. I hate shopping.

Short term memory loss on my part. I spent enough time there too. Thanks for the reminder. North Street used to totally rock, and it was only a couple of blocks from my house, no driving involved!
