condemned house fire ruled arson

would have posted something on this had I seen it sooner.

this is , and has been, a major concern to myself and my neighbors for years.

8 years ago we had two arson fires real close to our home in vacant homes.(the arsonist was never caught)  We now have 2 condemned homes and 3 vacant homes in our neighborhood and in close proximity to occupied homes.

I was told recently, that the borough has or can acquire "grant" money to knock these homes down which are condemned. My question is, are the razing of these buildings scheduled soon, or will we just wait until someone torches one of them, as in this case on north race?

Anyone know the answer?
