Chi Chi's in Erie is way better.

Perhaps you're referring to some new restaurant in the chi-chi's site. The entire chi-chi's chain died of complications from e coli.

The Flying J is usually significantly less expensive than PA gas stations.

The only thing you have to watch for at FJ is that sometimes their Regular is only 85 octane instead of 87, which accounts for a few cents of the difference and might matter if, say, you drove some kind of large SUV.

With Octane difference... a car/PU would be negigible. As far as Octane...the newer autos have ECMs to adjust to the fuel. What I worry more about is E-10... which is sold sometimes at Love's. I think there is a law that the pumps are supposed to be marked if alcohol is added and usually in increments of percentages I believe in increments of 5...up to and including E-85. I think 10% or less is harmless to the gas engine but it can offer up to 20% less milage and.... less power. Just be aware of what you buy.

:D  Good way of putting it.  Strangely enough though, the Chi-Chi's brand name lives on in grocery stores...
