A million may take a while. 100K will get here in about September 22 by my estimation. Going at a rate of 254 views per day anyhow.

Does everyone notice the amount of times that the CLP report has been
read.  99,117 as of today.  I'm taking bets on what date we hit the one
million.  My guess is right around Pumpkinfest, Oct.8th.  Any takers?
Gee, it's almost like no one cares about CLP anymore--(that was my
sarcastic slam of the day).

Oct 8th.......six years from now maybe.

Sorry about that mistake.  Before she says it, the doctor can't get me
on the right meds yet to get me feeling better.  I can't stand being home
like this, and even worse not knowing how much longer this is going to
take to get me back to being productive again.

However, in six years, I am not so sure CLP will be the main topic. I am
deeply concerned about the reviews on the Hotel, and these are the ones
that were just by people who knew how to access that site.  My biggest
concern is serving underage, and we all know how easy that happens.
Maybe no one will agree with this, but if an 18 year old can go to another
country and get trained on how to fight a war, use a gun to kill the enemy,
then they should be old enough to drink.  If you make it legal, it takes the
excitement away from the underage, sort of reverse psychology.  Before
everyone starts with the bashing, just ask yourself one question:  did you
ever take one drink before you were 21?

PNP... no disrespect, but could you have had a mini stroke? I'm asking because the little mistakes you've made recently (like the "million" coming after 99k) are kind of post-stroke-like.

You know that may be an easy thing to miss if everything else seems normal.

I don't agree with the military/drinking thing (although drinking in the military is very very common). Now that I know more about how the brains of young adults grow and work, drinking at a very young age is a very self-destructive activity imho.  Young brains don't finish developing until the early to mid 20s and not having good impulse control is one of the hallmarks of this age group. Adding drinking to the mix only makes it worse for young people. I think our "elders" recognized this, even tho they didn't have the science backing it up, therefore they made the drinking age 21.

One drink at a wedding with my parents and one sip at a graduation party. Nothing to warrant lowering the drinking age here.

When I was really sick a few years back I made little mistakes or omissions in explanations all the time.  Particularly with numbers which was kind of bad because that was what I worked with all day.  Now that I am doing better because of a variety of lifestyle & diet changes it doesn't happen as much.  But as soon as I get depleted - from flu or any illness - numbers are the first thing to go for some reason.  Thank goodness for Excel.

Wanda,  Math wasn't my best forte, and I still count on my fingers at times! (it really impresses my patients  when I'm totaling up their fees! ;D )  There is a chance that, if you are on meds, that they are helping you to have "fuzzy math".  AMI,  YES we will be having a Bloogers Cruise, even if only a few of us show up, but I think we can get a decient number.  It will be nice to meet you so I can put a name to a face.  I hope CLW shows up also. I would like to meet her.  I respect her "telling it like it is" which reminds me of my basic self!  We usually have the cruise on Saturday  early so we can enjoy the rides, Midway vendors, and of course THE BEACHCLUB, especially we "singles" in the group.  ;D   KAYLEE, give us your take if you want.

Thanks, Ko Shin, for your support.  It really was a simple, stupid mistake.
This whole subject is so close to my heart, because I was the one that
was either smart enough, or stupid enough, to call a public meeting on
something that I never thought would get so many different views.

To me, the most beautiful sound in the world is hearing a little child laugh,
and seeing pictures on this blog proves that there are alot of people that
want to see the park continue.  I was so excited when I saw the 99,000
figure, I jumped the gun without thinking.

P.S.  I laughed so hard at your comment--that's my story and I'm sticking
to it.  I may have to use that one in the future.

Just throwing it out there - would love to see everyone at the Pumpkin Fest.  We had a minor problem last year - the traffic was so bad that a few of the bloggers missed the cruise.  Should we meet first at the Beach Club - then maybe cruise.  It might be helpful - I felt so bad when Sunflower missed the cruise.

Well, I know PnP was in the hospital recently, very near death. A mini-stroke is easy to miss when other things are going wrong.
It wasn't meant as an insult, only for her to be aware and watchful.

Zip, you are not an insulting person, and I would never take anything you say as an insult.  I had three doctors and two
nurses telling my husband to call the family in, and I was telling
him not to, everything was utter chaos.  However, I do apprec-
iate your thoughts, as it was my internal organs from the neck
down, and they did not do a brain scan during that time.  Nuff said.

As I have often said, the bloggers that I have met since this whole
Park story has started, are truly all really down-to-earth, wonderful
people.  I will even say that Kaylee Belle & Captain are two people
who love the park as much as I do, and they have given alot of time and effort, and put in long hours.  I respect everyone that has
a good work ethic, and they have gone thru some tough years over
there.  Although we do disagree on many things as a group, I think
we are all concerned if something bad happens to any of us.  My
hope is that we all respect each other.

Thanks, LOCK, I needed that laugh!  I just got an email from a friend of mine and he said that his wife told him this morning that she was leaving him.  I'm bummed out on the news, of course.  Many of us have underlying issues weighing heavily on us during these difficult times, and they affect us on many levels.  Having the Park there, and taking a trip "back in time" when things were simpler and seeming easier, is a wonderful experience for many.  It will be nice to hear how the weekend went at the Park.....Concerning the pending Blogger's Cruise, when we finally set time for it, we could meet at the BC about 1/2 hr. before.  This is just a thought, and imput will decide what we agree to.   My beans are in the oven, and the aroma is drifting across the street to Webber's house.  Watch out, you may smell them all the way to the Park.   :D

Well, this should make all of us smile--we may hit the 100,000 hit by
tomorrow nite.   (God, I pray that I am using the right number this
time.)  What an exciting milestone.

The weather is a little cooler than expected here today, and the Linesville
Expo has alot of people, but it isn't packed.  Hope to make the Park
tomorrow.
