I didn't mean to be harsh, it's just sometimes the topic issue comes up, (not always the same person so it was not directed at any one person) and seriously, this whole forum thing is just a bunch of friends and strangers chatting about life. Life changes. Life moves forward. Life has rules, but most people break some rules now and then. If not, life would be b-o-r-i-n-g.

  I think the clich'e, "no news is good news" may be appropriate.  I say this in relation to all the "bad" news we went through last winter with all the CLP breakins, fires, Board activities, etc.  In this context, I'm glad it is "quiet"!  BUT, I will say, many of "our gang", including me, couldn't wait to check into the thread to see what was happening next and sharing our frustration, tears, and opinions.

We got a little clue as to what is going on in the Hotel. Maybe it is just better to leave them alone to get some improvements going. I do hope the midway gets some attention this year.   ::)

Heat, A/C, cable in some of the Hotel rooms, most weekends booked for weddings / events starting in the spring- all good news.  Agree I hope the midway is spruced up and Lisko has a chance to make improvements.

I also agree that the webcams would be a good idea.  They could be used for security, especially in the off season, for visual advertising, and great for we who are out of state or the area.   When our CLP nostalgia recepter is tripped, we could then go to the website and see the Hotel, Beach Club, Lake, Midway etc.   Here at 7 Springs, I check out the webcams throughout the year, when I am here or out of state.  Speaking of snow, we got around 3 Feet here at the mountain bunker, from this storm.  It is going to be Great skiing today!   :wahoo:

After reading the reviews of the hotel on TripAdvisor, the it is way over due for an upgrade.
