thanks for all the great welcome back wishes!!!just when you think you are in the ok(?) on my way home last night i spun into a ditch! around 11pm. on my way home from a friends house, dinner & olympics, walked to 3 houses before i found someone who drove me home. waiting for a friend now to get the car out!!!! dang snow!!!!! i didnt get hurt & i believe the car is ok. think i need a 4 wheel drive!! lol!!

Yesterday our plow guy got stuck in our driveway. He called a friend to tow him out and then they both were stuck. They called a third guy who came and got them out. Lots of laughing going on up at the end of the drive between all 4 of them out there digging out and sliding around. At least they had fun.

Hey, has anyone noticed that the Community News has an online subscription service? Now you can get the full paper, and Crawford/Conneaut Lake information from anywhere, even if you're a "Muphere". :)

All right Gang, here is the scoop on the Park Spring Cleanup.  Let's get some of our family bloggers to join in.  I'm staying at the Park Hotel both Friday and Saturday nights.  Join us, because it is not just doing the cleanup, we Interact and Party that weekend also!   ;D   Subject: Conneaut lake park clean up
 
Hi everyone
 
Well due to a computer problem I have been a little out of touch so I have a lot to update. First for those who have not gotten the e mails I do apologize but hopefully we have the problems fixed.
 
Volunteer clean up weekend is set for April 24 & 25
Time : 9:00 AM – 5:00PM
Meeting place: the veranda of the hotel
Things to bring: any gardening tools, trash bags, paint brushes & rollers, if you have carpentry tools we have picnic tables to be repaired.
If you would like to donate flowers you can bring them (as for planting them we may have to wait)…..if you want your tools back please put your name on them.
Lunches will be provided
 
Rooms are available at the hotel Conneaut at a discounted rate: $35.00/night or $65.00/Friday and Saturday. Contact the hotel at 814-213-0120. You must tell them you are a volunteer to receive the discount.
 
We have 5 free cabins at camperland and free sites. Contact the park at 814-382-5115 and leave a message it is first come first serve
 
I have been getting many calls regarding the fairway 12 betty has told me that she has not been able to reach anyone there so at this time I do not have any answers regarding the fairway
 
Next is an update on the collection we have been doing for Jim Tolbert….We collected enough money for the board for the board walk. Jamie Tolbert has asked for the excess money to be donated to the blue streak fund in his father’s name…..we will be doing this on Saturday at lunch time.
 
RSVP for cleanup is not required but it is appreciated to help us plan for lunches.

SIR GORE, If you make it here, it will be nice to see you again.  Stay or visit the Hotel, listen to some of my good "Doo Wop" and share some wine. Bring a hammer so everything will look like a nail to you.   ;D

I saw a news report about a man who raised 30M and built an amusement park completelyspecial needs accessible. I thought, wouldn't it be cool if CLP added some handicap accessible rides - swings and such.  the park is Megan's Wonderland and the website is: http://www.morganswonderland.com/ 
Perhaps some of you who know the CLP folks can pass this on to them.  We are far enough away from Texas that we wouldn't compete and we certainly wouldn't have as extensive # of rides but a few would bring special needs folks from the tri-state area.
