The price never was $5 for a draft!  LOL   It doesn't fluctuate; band or no band, rain or shine.

Haven't seen much lately regarding the Crystal Ball which is being held this weekend.  It's a dinner/dance with a band. Sounds like a great Saturday night event at the Hotel Conneaut.  Perhaps it's sold out thus no reason to advertise.  I will be there with the better half and hope to see a good turn out to enjoy the evening and the renovated ball room.

Zipper, your one of a kind.  Thanks for your commentaries.  There always dead on.  Kidcoaster, are you at liberty to explain what the curve ball was concerning the BlueStreak gathering?  I also agree that Carole West needs one heck of a lot of thanks for keeping the park on track and moving ahead.  Good people are hard to find, and she is definitely one of them.  It's very obvious she loves the Park dearly.

Open the park, I agree, Carol West is doing a great Job and has a lot on her plate.  I met her fot the first time a week and a half ago, sweet woman.  As IC2ITUC said  a few pages back he/she donated for a board over the 4th of July weekend, I did also and it wasn't down yet as of the weekend of the 5th.

I stopped in to see Carol and she explained to me that they need to wait to send out at least 30 boards at atime to get inscribed.  Depending on when an application is processed this could take some time.  Greg also told me the same thing. As of the 5th she said a batch was almost ready to come back and another was to go out.

Aslo as of the 5th the inscribed boards are a little past the wheel chair ramp.  I'll Check this weekend if any new boards have been put down.

Oh Yeah, Thanks Precision Pest for taking care of my bee problem.  "If You Want The Best,  Call Precision Pest"

I would love to go to the ball, but alas, like Cinderella I have no ball gown ...or a date. I think Mr. Zip would lend me out for the evening to do photos, but the $75 (plus cash bar) is a bit deep for our pockets right now. If I only had a pumpkin and a Fairy Godmother....

Sounds like a fun time though. I was looking online for information about the band but didn't find any.

I'm curious about the aggression of all of the bees lately. They seem to be very unfriendly this year.

Wasn't there a problem last year with all of the bees? Seems many "dissapeared" or were lost from their hives. I remember there was speculation that cell-phones had caused a disturbance ~among other theroys.

Does anyone know if a cause was determined or why it all seems okay this year?

....just in from the Rocky Mountain west observation post-

....310 is now the legal occupancy of the Beach Club

....also noted-

"Porter also reported on the condition of the Rt. 618 Bridge which has, according to them, settled by about a foot since its completion. According to Porter's assistant, Justin Dickey, the area in question is about 100 feet from the bridge."

....Tig needs to get a contract ;D ....
