Well as I hear this bill (if passed) will result in some (changes to or interpretations of) the 6th amendment. What those changes are I do not know. I suppose this falls in line with the commissioning. Anyhow, here's what one of our goverment representatives had to say about it.

I thought you couldn't add or change an amendment without approval of 3/4 of the states.

100 Great Anti-War Quotes.

The one that really sticks out to me:

"Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty." -George Washington

Oh, i'm sure some obscure paragraph in the Patriot Act changed all that.

The other day Rick Perry insisted that he would be able to undo the health care law simply through executive order, despite repeated followup questions from the reporter asking him what authority would allow overturning something passed by congress and signed into law by a president. He truly believes he'd have that power.

meanwhile, back to the subject of family values, some news account the other day claimed that Newt wouldn't be harmed by his twice-divorced past because social issues aren't important to evangelical christians. Really? Then why is that type of voting group always rallying for constitutional amendments to protect marriage by keeping gay abortion doctors from serving in the military.

Funny how their world revolves around such issues sometimes and how they can quietly ignore them at other times.

Now the NDAA 2012 goes back to the House for reconciliation. But they're not talking about it publicly.

I'm really starting to think they're all loathesome pricks.

Judge Andrew Napolitano: The Case for Austerity

I like this fellow. His hair is on a par with Trump's in terms of awesome comb-overness, but his thoughts on government and liberty are excellent.

Didn't onr of the FOX Network Blonds actually touch his hair and noted that the haor was all his and not BALDING as well as being "silky". It seems it is just HIS way of having a hairstatement, like Traficants love affair with Polyester and thin ties... not the best of looks but his just the same.
