MsPeacock:
zip....so glad you started this topic....i always enjoyed reading your posts on that other thread.

Zipper:
Thank you. Animals are so important to our lives, and treating them kindly and with respect only improves us as human beings, regardless if you are a vegetarian or not. There is absolutely no excuse for causing an animal needless suffering or abuse, or standing by silently while someone else is abusing an animal.

My pets are like my children, a valued and precious part of my family. I have enjoyed listening to the stories from others, regarding their pets also.

Pet Issues was a good topic on Hey Martha Forums, and I hope it continues to be a heavily visited topic here on EE Ticket.

Speaking of pets.........

I have a homeless young cat (male) I'm trying to find a home for. He showed up here August 28th. I would guess hes not even close to a year old.

I have used Fronline flea and tick on him, so hes clean of those critters.

I did bring him in last night, he uses the litter box just fine. My wife and I have five cats and after a short time they all got along.

I'm really trying to avoid the likes of Stray Haven in Greenville here. Being we already have five cats, I really do not want a sixth.

OL FATTY:
Are birds counted as part of this pet talk? I might be getting some finches. I know they aren't like a dog or a cat but they are pets I guess in some folks eyes.     :P
