Little Louie got neutered today, and all of his shots updated.  He weighs only 6.6 pounds.

He's been running around with his little surgery cone on... which he hates. It's going to be a rough next couple of days. :(

Just a little update...

Louie is doing fine since being neutered, and is getting along fine with his two brothers. Stevie was a bit jealous at first, but is doing ok with him now.

I think they enjoy Louie's constant play-mode, and I know they've had fun chasing him around while he zips between their legs and steals their toys, and dives underneath the bed to hide out from them. LOL It's funny.. Louie is really quick.

Otherwise, I just stay busy cleaning up after them, and have learned to enjoy the quiet moments.... like now..... everyone is sleeping, including Mr. Zip.

Ahhh.

Available at Shiny's "Get em and Gas em".

And here's a great argument for spay/neuter. These adorable pups at Shiny's.... sickens me.

Looks like there's about 5 puppies listed.

Isn't it noce of Shiny to give these guys a piece of crap to lay on?

Other shelters:

Animal Friends Presents a Tour of the Caryl Gates Gluck Resource Center

(Pittsburgh)

OR:
One of The ANNA Shelter's cat rooms, where they can play together.

Shiny's Cat Room:

And after 20 years of being in "business"...

"The Crawford County Humane Society tries to keep all of our animals as long as possible, but there is no set length of time for which stray cats will be held.  (By separate arrangement, stray cats picked up from within Meadville city limits will be held for 72 hours from the time of arrival at our Shelter.)"

(We know what they do with them afterwards....)

And

"Our Mission
The primary purpose of the Crawford County Humane Society is to:
• provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals
•provide proper care for stray and injured animals
enforce all laws designed for the protection of animals
secure in lawful manner the arrest, conviction and punishment of all persons violating such laws
•instruct and induce people to be kind, considerate and merciful in their treatment of animals.

Male Boxer-Mastiff mix in need of foster or permenant home. If fyou can help call Debbie at 814-789-4590 she works 2nd shift so call late or early day. This dog is scheduled to be surrendered by the owners to the CCHS on Tuesday. Friendly, and reportedly housebroken, the dog was banned to the outdoors when the owners brought home a new baby.
