Just in case anyone is interested, this is a good web page for the "Alt" codes. http://www.tedmontgomery.com/tutorial/altchrc.html

I hope someone finds Scooter soon.

Check the CCHS AGAIN! They have a dog they found on 12-9 in Conneaut Lake.
I can't call there. Someone else has to do this. Their photos are not showing up so I can't check.

They're calling it a hound mix. Someone call ASAP! Ask! Better yet, go in and look.

OOPs. My mistake. It says the dog was brought in on 11-09 not 12-09. (Yes I feel like a dope.) I must have slept November away with Ami.

This page will print easily for you.  Just click here and print!

Or take this ad and post it on your website or send the link above to your friends in Conneaut Lake.

I'm not big on poetry, but this was in my email this morning, so I thought I would share:

 T’was thinking

If I were...
a tiny, wee, dear little mouse
Would I be welcome at your house?
   ...a twittering, sweet morning bird
Would you listen; tell what you heard?

If I came...
     to your home’s front door
Would you say, “Come, eat and have more?
   ...empty handed, tired and weary
Would your kind welcome leave me teary?

If I told...
all the creatures, on this earth
Of you- would it fill them with mirth?
...everyone how you treated the land
Would joy flow through hills, rivers ‘n sand?

If I had...
a wounded body, soul or heart
Could you tend, salve; repair each part?
...nowhere to live, no way to survive
Could you, would you keep me alive?

If I asked...
please, might you spare some time
Or, perhaps give of yourself, sublime?
...you about all and everything in need
Will you, by doing, spread Jesus’ creed?

If I reminded...
the Bible tells: God created all; each
nothing is beyond His love or His reach.
...God looked down, proclaimed it good
Will you, can you now say you understood?

I was thinking to go to the post office and talk to the carriers. They travel the neighborhoods extensively and might have seen him.

Why am I not seeing anything in the Tribune Classifieds?

Dogs at work and play.

http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Dogs-Work-And-Play/ss/events/lf/082503dogs

"In this Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 photo greyhound racing assistant trainer Nikki Hudson, of Taunton, Mass., right, uses a hose to wash the paws of 'Computer Glitch,' front, following a race at Raynham Park dog track, in Raynham, Mass. Although dog racing has existed in the state for 75 years, it is expected to come to an end Dec. 26, 2009 when the last race takes place at Raynham Park. Trainer Mike Curran, of Stoughton, Mass., left, cleans greyhound 'Hammer It Chuck.'

Cool 101.7 fm is a real treasure of our community. I was able to discuss Scooter at length this morning while doing my usual spot for DirtyDogLive.com. (Thursday mornings, 8:20-ish am) Thanks to Dave Hannahan, owner Joe Vilkie, and all the people at Cool 101.7!

Let's hope it brings Scooter back home.

I think you have to copy and paste the above code into your address bar.

NP... how would I have posted this so it showed up on the screen here? I am not sure which code to use for this forum.
