zip there were 8 pups. down to 2 after today. i have asked every person so far how they intend to house the dog. i did want to be sure they were not going to be an outside "pet". these are cute puppies that love to play & each one has left with one toy so they have something when they get to their new home.

Yikes!!!
How long ago did she have them? You keep a good secret. I'll have to give you that.
(of course, we know who let the cat out of the bag.... or pups... ) LOL

No pet issues here. My son has now decided he wants a dog. THis is surprising since he is rather cautious around (actually afraid) of dogs. So... we have a 6 and a soon-to-be eight year old on April 10th. Here's the thing, I don't want a little dog. I know we can't have an Irish Wolfhound either - bigger house, second job to pay for the food and front loader to pick up the duty. So Mrs NP has been dutifully researching dogs most of the day. There's Black Lab/Aussie Shepard mix pups that are due for their second round of shots next Wednesday.  The owner wants $100 per, most likely to cover the vet bills.

I'm on the fence here. This may put a kink in our plans for a trip to Meadville this summer... tap tap tap tap tap tap... Sometimes I hate dealing with crap like this...

Our 106 lb. yellow lab rides very well in the back seat area with the seats folded up. We've taken her to Florida for the last six or seven years. Don't even know she is back there. She just goes down and enjoys the ride.  :)

Fleas are a problem in Fla.

It's also been my personal observation that wherever the dog takes a dump you will have fire ants at that location within days.Least that was the case on the ocean side.

Before we left Florida, we picked two really big ticks off the dog. One off her neck and one from between her toes.   8)

I'm in the same boat NP. I promised the kids I would get them dogs if/when I got the job back home.

THE DAY I GOT HOME...maybe 15 minutes passed and they were like 'hey, you're home, lets get the puppies'.

Dang

I hate dogs. Not in a nasty way, I just don't have tome for them, and 3 of the 4 kids in our family were mauled by dogs (I could go into detail but it DEFINITELY was not out fault).

Mrs.TiFeMb wants a black and chocolate lab, I want a whippet. whippets rock. and they play frisbee REAL well. They are slightly smaller and easier to take care of, good temperment, short hair.

I can't get mama or the kids to agree, so I am stalling. We have the yard, the fence, big porch and a awesome raised and covered garden shed that would be perfect for them.

I just don't like animals, I work too much as it is.

I think I'll get the phone too...

PS: I REALLY despise cats  8)  and mama does too, so I dodge a bullet there.

You really need need to shoot straight on the animal thing Tife. You're just massively dripping with ambivalence.   :eyebrow:

I know they shed. There's a ways to go on this. I need to get some peoples foot off the accelerator. The impatience chromosome is starting to kick in bad.
