Ran over an 8 foot rattler in my neighborhood yesterday. Sorry, but we went back and ran it over again. Maybe 200 yards from my house. Scary.

Seems the armadillos dug under my pool again, I am in the process of draining the pool and repacking the dirt under the liner again.  At least I caught it before it blew out the liner again.....

I'm moving into a condo as soon as I can sell my house...too many critters.

Saw a Bald Eagle coming in for a landing in a farmer's field along 173 this afternoon. Close enough to see the tail feathers. First eagle I've seen since I got home from the hospital, so I was happy. :)

Absolutely was, Puff! Unfortunately, a lady in a vehicle was too close behind us to stop and really watch or take a photo. I did have the camera with me, too. Now to find a Blue Heron that is standing not flying. For some reason I have only seen them flying thus far this summer. And I am ever hopeful for an indigo bunting.

There is a federal(?) nesting site provided for the Blue Herons down on Rt.18 south of Greenveille, PA just behind where the Agway plant used to be.

We have a heron that frequents the pond behind our house. I usually only see him in flight though.

Available at the ANNA Shelter.
www.theannashelter.com

German Shorthair Pointer

Hound Pitt Mix

Three of the fourteen puppies at the shelter. (Can't you just smell the puppy breath?)

Setter Mix. (He came in pretty bad shape, but is doing well now.)

Corgi Mix ... he looks like if you let go of the leash he would spin around in circles. What a cutie.
