Not for me, I like daylight savings. I detest standard time.

The Amish stay on standard time all year long - cuz farmers need as much light in the morning as they do at night. I just don't see the sense in switching to Daylight time before the freakin' equinox for heaven's sake. It was still pretty dark when my kid went to get on the bus this morning.

I'm not hep on the first few days after the change. I'm a tad irritable.

I wish we'd just pick one and stay on it. My vote is for daylight savings. I go to work in the wee hours of the morning and like to have as much daylight left for me as possible.

That's just me being selfish though.

I agree with you NP. I would like at least a chance of seeing the daylight and/or sunset after work. After all, I spend my entire day in a dark room with no windows (and no, I am not a mushroom nor locked up in an asylum)

Going back to the discussion previously, my baby sister would get car sick.  My dad bought a new car (he bought one every other year or so - he was a traveling salesman).  We were going to my oldest sister's graduation at Indiana University and we all poured in the car.  This was before car seats and seat belts.  On the way my baby sister got car sick and threw up all over my dad's new car.  Later, whenever we went anywhere my mother would give my baby sister Dramamine - and we would literally pour her into the car.  Never another barfing accident, but looking back it was almost abusive the way we shoved her aside.  I remember putting her into the floor section so that we (my other sisters and I) would have  more room. She was so out of it she didn't know, but looking back it was kind of rough.

Lil Miss NP went to the Dr today. She had an ear infection. She started complaining about that yesterday. She lost 2 pounds too. That's a lot for a previously 39 pound feather of a girl. She's taking augmentin (and liking it cuz we said so) Gotta love how Target packaged kids meds though!

Sunday morning I woke up with a very bad aching jaw on the left side. Like it was dislocated. Took a couple of Aleve pills and it took away a lot of the soreness away but still can't chew or bite down on much. Going to chiropractor tomorrow. Probably a big  waste of time and money. I have had this before but I can't remember what I did about it  ??? (old age)

Awwww....I was like that.  Mom pumped me full of dramamine beofre a car trip any further than - like - Erie.  We had a station wagon with a very long back end and I would lay in the back and sleep.

Glad the little one is on the road to recovery NP.   :)

I am sure I don't need to tell you this... but you know left jaw pain can be a warning sign of a heart attack.... Please be safe. Call your Dr.

Hey NP:
I got another warning from Microsoft that this could be a phishing site. I told them that I don't phish, but they wanted to know if you do, not me. LOL Anyway, there's a place to check if you are the owner of the site, but that's not me, so I didn't know what to do about it.

What kind of drugs are they on in Redmond anyhow?  What am I phishing for? Speed trap information? Sick kid stories? Flood stage data? Dang!
