Thanks for the thoughts BH. I am still nursing a sore shoulder/neck, so unless it is a lingering nerve issue I should be OK. I had the chiropractor give me some x-rays and he did some tests to make sure I didn't have a bulging disc or the like. Then I was able to get a deep tissue massage on Monday to try to unlock all my tight muscles & ligaments.
 
I had to stay home (no internet) on Monday because my daughter was running a fever & Mrs.TiFeMb is working now  :wahoo:  , then the van got a flat. We have PAX tires (run flats) but it still went flat. So I had to have it towed to the dealership and I had to deal with that stupid tire all morning yesterday.
 
DO NOT GET PAX/RUN FLATS ON ANY VEHICLE! (especially hondas)
 
Then I still had to watch my daughter because she had a fever (99-100ish). I had a blast and so did she. It really steeled my resolve to get back together with the family. I spent 2 extra days with my kids (without mom!) and we really had a good time. My kids REALLY make me feel like a dad & I like being around them. Plus they're just hilarious.
 
I'm in the kitchen & my daughter is watching movies in the other room. Out of NOWHERE, she asks,"Daddy, is #uck a bad word?"
 
 :rofl: :shocked:
 
So I had to wait on the coke & chips until I had a little 'discussion' with my precious daughter...
 
pray for my body, I still hurt!

MrR. - I will.  Thanks. :)  And yes - I am more than relieved. 

NP - Part time but I have to get my foot in the door.   Things are not looking good where I am.  I am not impressed with the potential pay cut.   Nearly 15 years somewhere will get you a lot of pay raises and a whole bunch of paid vacation.   But I think I will stick around on a per diem basis for many reasons.  I will have to give up my weekend work-24-get-paid-for-40 gig which is bumming me out.  But I don't have the job yet!

Zip - I know!  I haven't interviewed in over ten years.  Should be interesting.

Last night, i had a dream I met gore. He geocached some hiking boots for my little kids. When I found them, he was there smiling.

Nice dream - but where that particular randomness came from - I've no idea.

The interview went well.  Apparently I nearly had the job wrapped up (according to her) before I even got there as one of the unit managers and a supervisor who used to be RNAC where I am now just happened to get a chance to look through some apps and they both said "call her" and had some glowing recommendations.  I was pleased as I have always looked up to these two ladies.  But they want me to work second shift (2-10:30)  two nights a week.  I won't.  She didn't even look at the application which clearly stated I wouldn't work second shift.  That kinda pissed me off.  I let her know I am interested in the event they want someone for some first and third shift part time stuff  and she said I'd be on top of the heap.  We chatted for a long time and  got some coffee.  I liked her.  It wasn't a total waste of make-up.  :)

ouch. second shift bites. 3rd is so much easier.
 
nice to know that your hard work and integrity precedes you.
 
lets hope they 'create' a position for you or something else comes up.
