Well even though I have a few miles under my shadow..... I can assure you that I have NO need of a little blue pill or what ever color or shape they come in, as yet....  ;)

Maybe you could forward your suggestion to Cialis :D

Sounds like a perfect tag line for a Cialis commercial!

You can get a wireless card or a wireless usb connector for a desktop; for not much money either.

Most puters now come with a LAN card, but if not they are very cheap as NP says.
. Maybe $20-$40

Not knowing what you use your machine for, you might want to look at the Dell Inspiron's. They come in both Lap and desktop, and are not expensive.

....I posted a week or so back that I had to replace the milehigh bunker five year old heavily utilized DELL DIMENSION desk top tower; and, I settled on the DELL ZINO HD 'mini-desktop'....

....I finally got it up and running and am quickly growing to like it, other than having to learn the new changes from XP; but, as I run Mozilla FIREFOX, I managed to make the screen look/run like the old machine pretty quick....

....it gave me an opportunity to once again remodel the constantly evolving milehigh bunker command desk, and I almost have the refurbished desk drawer finished to accommodate the new V313 wireless printer/scanner/copier....

....the new ZINO is the small black box on the lower shelf to the lower right of the monitor....

....it's almost 3 times as fast and has 3 times the storage as the old tower, but the kicker is that I got the ZINO and the V313 printer from DELL-

....both for $298.00, plus $30 shipping!!!!....

So my daughter has been home from school the past few days with the stomach bug. Last night she came into our room at 3:00 saying she had a bad dream. So she crawls into bed with us and lays down.  About fifteen minutes later she announces aloud "my stomach feels funny." Before either of could move she lets loose all over the bed, herself and me. Of course puke plan A went into action. I stripped the princess of her nightie. Robyn strips the bed get the sheets rinsed and starts putting clean sheets, blankets and pillow cases on the bed. I'm giving the princess a shower because she was covered in Friday nights dinner. After getting her cleaned up I got myself cleaned up.  About 3:40 we got her put back in her bed with the special bucket next to it and we got back into our bed.  Unfortunately I didn't get back to sleep. It's gonna be a long day!

The PC that I have now is a Dell and have had no problems over the years...just a few upgrades...I just purchased a new really nice camera...so I want to do more with Graphics...I am not a gamer at all...not sure that I need to have anything to take with me...when we visit Pennsylvania or I am there on business...I have access to a family members PC...but it is nice to get away once in a while without a PC...looking for something with plenty of storage and Graphics capabilities...I know that I said I am cheap (Frugal)...(heck my car is 13 years old and I have two TV's and watch over air waves) but if it has everything that I need and will last...I have no problems coming off some green...Thanks All...I will let you know when I make the move... ;) ...

Here's a good one for you if you're interested in graphics. More speed and memory that you'll need for a little while, comes with Windows 7, and lots of goodies inside.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_dynSessConf=1731816558358545667&id=pcat17071&type=page&st=p6310y&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960

Graphics programs are memory hogs, and you often need to open 3 or 4 of them at the same time and switch back and forth between them, which causes normal computers to crash.

Say you have your camera programs open, and Photoshop, and Illustrator, and maybe a Corel application, AND the internet because you are waiting for that all-important email to come through. You need lots and lots of RAM to keep it going without one of them locking up on you halfway through an art, which trust me, is not fun, especially if you haven't saved your work every 10 minutes. Even losing 10 minutes worth of work can be a pain if you have to go back and redo it.

Yeah it's not the first time I've been subjected to it. It probably won't be the last either.

Did anyone else forget it was daylight savings?  I said something to Mr Who and he was up and out the door like lightening.  Apparently he and the kids had something going on at the gym this morning....he said "shit....I thought I had a half our to kill with a cup of coffee and the computer....."  Oh well, gives me time to clean this "bachelor pad" the boys created over the past four days.  Would you believe they ate hamburgers and ice cream and watched Steven Segal movies?

I think baby girl is headed to the doctor tomorrow. She has been home from school since Thursday. She has been coughing (dry and wet), has vomited about 4 times. The odd thing is that her temperature has been 100.4, 100.8, 98.6 and now 102.4 in that order. She's drinking ginger ale and nibbling on (like a mouse) on stuff but has no real appetite at all.

Is she possibly throwing up because she is coughing hard?  Little kids'll do that sometimes.

No, the vomiting has not been corresponding with any coughing spells. She says her right ear hurts now (on the inside) and that ain't too good.

Puke plan A.  As if there's a puke plan B, lol.

….I think the little one was 12 or 13 at the time, and one pleasant Spring Sunday we were headed out to take a putz around the countryside in the Cessna….

….on the way to the airport we stopped at a convenience store to  fill the gas jugs (had an auto-fuel STC for the Cessna) and a little snack….

….at the register, she lays a big ole Slim Jim and a pint jar of apple juice on the counter :o -

….”Are you sure that is what you want for a snack?”….

….”Ya. I like it.”….

….”O-O-O-O-O-kie d-o-o-o-o-kie….” ::)

….about an hour later she’s smoothly piloting the Cessna around straight and level at about a thousand feet taking in the delightful bursting colors of Spring enjoying the calm Spring air with the windows popped open....

….I look over and down at the Munchkin, with her two little hands confidently on the wheel deftly making the required subtle and minor corrections,  with her feet barely touching the pedals, and she looks back up me, smiling delightfully, then turns back to the front, and-

…. instantly project-hurls chunks all over her side of the instrument panel….

….I make a beeline direct-VFR back to the field, a small operation really out there in the middle of the country side where we were fortunately the only activity in sight; I plant the Cessna on the ramp directly in front of the pilot lounge- a weather-beaten rusty 1960’s 10'-wide mobile home, and taxi right up to the front door to hustle the little one into the hard-water well-stained bathroom for the clean-up….

….then I open the closet, grab a bucket, brush, sponge and rag, and handed them to the cleaned but stained and still slightly odoriferous Munchkin….

“Here….”

“What’s that for? I got most of it cleaned off.”

“Your Slim Jim is still in the plane….”

“The look of incredibility lasted about three-tenths of a second and she dutifully turned to fill the bucket with the outside hose….

….she’s the rocket-scientist of the family, when she got home with her older sisters they rolled on the floor and rode her mercilessly- “….even Helen Keller could have seen that one coming down the line.”

….Puke Plan B; only and last time she’s ever chucked in a plane….
