Folks...

I am almost done with

Cold  Sun[Kindle Edition]
By: John L. Casey

I found it very enlightening to say the least. Chapter 5 was great and will reread..'

What I found interesting was the "Value" of the CARBON CREDITS that Gore fell in love with. Now, our Government has sunk a lot of our money into this Global Warming/Climate Change/ [ enter any name you want]... When this crap started, CARBON CREDITS were $7.40/ton... it is now.... $ .10/ton. A good buy or a bust?

I am recommending this book and I love the fact it is not a big complicated book and was less than $8 for a Kindle download.

The book covers history and one point mentioned, made sense. It was shown the actions of the Sun could well have helped America to be born. It may have caused the French Revolution and in turn, when it was won, we relied on the French to help fight for the Birth of our country...  Just what I took from it.

Saw three different flocks of geese flying this week, each flock in a different direction!

IMO carbon credits were a revenue sham. Essentially you can buy your way out being a polluter. I never understood the actual benefit we got from them.

btw,,, Lifetime... a Kindle fire? Really? Didn't know you had it in you.  8)

To be honest with you... I am the one who usually buys my electronics and I tell my wife NOT to. So she did not, NOT buy me an I-Pod a few years ago. She did not, not buy me an HP Mini 210 last year and this year for Christmas she did not, not buy me the Kindle Fire.

I told her not to buy the electonics for me when she bought a laptop for me and I had to take it back for one with a bit more butt to it.  So... you see, it is not I, but rather my better half that thinks I NEED things so she does NOT, NOT buy them for me.

I have to admit I was not sure I would like the Kindle but, it has NOT, not grown on me as well. Besides... for the price it was a good choice over the I-Pad and I really do not need the camera and mic for the difference in the way I use it. Storage may not be as big but I have the Cloud to cover that. I know it doesn't have all the fancy APPS but who needs an APP to tell you when to wipe yer arse?? Oh, and did I tell you she wanted my Slider Phone so she thought I needed an LG with a QWERTY board. Both are TracPhones.

Now I worry when she says that I need a life LOL. She thinks I piss off too many people. I think... not enough hours in a day *S*.

And I did NOT, NOT give her a Valentines Day gift this weekend.
