The Colts- Dolphins game Monday night was one of those where the stats don't explain the results. Time of posession had the Dolphins with the ball for 45 minutes, losing to the Colts who had it for 15.
The PTI guys gave a good explanation. The Colts can put up points so fast that 15 minutes is enough. Most other teams are like the Dolphins and need 45 to put up 23.
This was another great finish. I havn't seen a clunker yet this season.

I am so shocked.  They were ahead, and we had to go out, and when I checked the score just now.. they LOST. I don't get it. :(

I emailed my sisters telling them that I am too old for this stuff - the stress.  picture me sitting on the couch covering my eyes - knowing when Sweed dropped the ball we were done - when they had time left over - I was in total distress.  I am too old to carry this kind of stress and strain.  My ringtone on my telephone is "pittsburgh's going to the super bowl"  - help me!!! Always a steelers fan - whether they win or lose.  Ask me about my Steelers pregnancy story sometime.

Meh.

1-2 is not a good start. BUT - it's early in the season and there's still time. Given that most teams getting into the playoffs are at least 11-5 or so . . . they gotta stop goofin' around and get about the business of winning.

Yea its only their 1st divison loss. I think we'll be alright. We need Polamalu back like right now. People say 1 man cant make a difference well I disagree with those people. Troy has Q'backs looking for him at all times and he comes out of no where...

My soon to be 2 year old was watching the game with me (She is an AVID Steeler fan!) This of course severely restricted my expletives, particularly when Sweed dropped a perfectly placed pass that should have been a TD. My little girl sweetly asked "Daddy cry?" I told her "No" but there were tears on the inside :(

That's too, too funny grok.  Glad you're raising her right.  ;)

Side note:  As much as I like watching a game on the boob tube, I have recently come to realize how nice it is to listen to Hillgrove on the radio at game time too.  It's good exercise for the imagination.

Aw heck no need to worry at this stage. The season is still early. As for The Brownies, they are going NO WHERE again...They got that cellar spot clinched already...lol...

One of the few Brown's fans here. OMG they are just pathetic. It pains me to watch them, they make any team look like super bowl championship material. Its too easy.
But like a bad train wreck that u try to look away from, I find myself flipping the channel back to the game just to take that dreaded look.
Talk about torture!!!![/quote]
