Explaination...... that prefix is for this company to use ONLY from what was said.... sooooo nooooo you are not getting it on the normal grid. apparently they generate enough money and usage to warrant it.
 
I believe this type of exclusivity also extends to ZIP CODES too... I think Disney World and places like Santa Land has their own, for size and usage... there may be more as well. Arrangements and agreements can be in place.

I've worked for 2 telemarketing companies...the Do Not Call List is joked about all the time. They may input the numbers, but usually they just set the dialer to go through every number combination by area code.
 
The best thing to do is turn the land lines off & put your cell on vibrate, and use your cell as the emergency number.
 
I don't know how these people make money...

This is the complaint number for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Call them... explain and hopefully they will be interested enough to find out how the do not call list was over ridden and why.
