MEADVILLE -- An entertainment company can move forward with helping Paris Hilton find a "New BFF" after a judge cut the conglomerate loose from a Meadville woman's lawsuit.

Senior Judge Fred Anthony signed an order that dismissed Lisa Miceli's suit against Viacom and one of its properties, MTV.

The suit, filed in Crawford County Court in late June, alleged that Viacom, MTV and others, including Hilton and Ish Entertainment, had attempted a "hostile takeover" of Miceli's life through the development of an installment of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" that is set in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Miceli claimed in her suit that the show attempts to interfere with her alleged personal relationship with Sheik Ahmed Bin Saeed Bin Al Maktoum, of Dubai, whom she said she plans to marry.

The suit is still technically in place against Hilton, Ish Entertainment and "any and all tabloids or advertising agencies that (Hilton) partners with to promote herself," according to the defendants that Miceli listed in the suit. But none of those individuals and entities is believed to have been served the suit, as nothing has been filed in court to indicate that they have.

Miceli could not be reached for comment Monday.

Miceli wrote in the suit that she told representatives of Viacom, MTV and Ish Entertainment to prohibit Hilton from doing activities "that have anything to do with marrying into the culture of Dubai." She said she also asked that Hilton be prohibited from any "stalking and harassment of Lisa Miceli and her intended marriage partner."

During a court hearing in late August that was scheduled to take preliminary objections to Miceli's suit, Tyler Brody, a Philadelphia lawyer representing Viacom and MTV, asked Anthony to dismiss his clients from the case because no specific allegations had been made against them. Miceli, who is representing herself in the suit, did not attend the hearing.

Anthony denied Brody's request, stating in a Sept. 1 order that Miceli had the right to amend her complaint. Anthony gave her 20 days to do so and wrote in the order that he would approve a motion to dismiss the suit if Miceli were to fail to file an amendment.

Miceli missed the deadline, and Brody filed a motion to dismiss on Oct. 8. Anthony signed an order approving it on Thursday, and the order was filed in Crawford County Court the next day.

It was the second notable loss in Crawford County Court for Miceli in 16 months.

A June 2008 court order permanently barred Miceli from having contact with former NBA star Michael Jordan and others close to him. That action was brought on by a civil suit, filed in early 2008, that claimed Miceli had repeatedly violated a no-contact agreement between she and Jordan, whom she claimed was the father of her son.

Her son plays on my daughter's soccer team. She's generally pretty quiet and doesn't talk to folks much. I have some thoughts about this "stuff" - but - they don't matter much in the long run.

Hopefully she'll gain some insight at some point.

I see parallels with the 'balloon boy' dad: it's like they don't 'get it'. No matter how famous they get it will never be real, but people keep trying.

It looks like Miceli has a date with DJ Chisholm in a couple of weeks. Quite frankly, I'm a bit surprised she hasn't had more charges before now.

It will be interesting to see who these harassment charges are for.  I mean it could be just about anyone who is famous or has money or used to be her roommate!

Wonder if the Meadville PD just got tired of her incessant calls and charged with harrassment?
