the weather is sure getting cold and miserable for walks but at least no piles of snow... yet  ;)

glad you got your h1n1 gore. i was taken aback the other day at cleveland clinic how adamant they were in the pulmonary department about having the vaccination for h1n1,  this years seasonal flu and a pneumonia shot. the whole 9th floor of the Crille building was even kept colder to help reduce spread.(the doc told us that) he said they had many serious cases of h1n1 transferred there this season for intensive respiratory care from h1n1 complications. there were deaths but he would not elaborate.

ami is fortunate it appears, she came back from the brink. many have not.

Hooray! I take it that means Ami will be catching up on her reading on EE Ticket now.

Hellooooooooooooooooooo Ami! Welcome back to the world. I guess you'll be having a garage sale now to sell all those clothes you shrunk out of during the "big sleep". Definitely a silver lining there. :) I am so happy you are home, and back with your loved ones. ((((hugs))))

Thanks, God †.

Greetings Dear Friends!!  I am doing well, all things considered.  Physical therapy to regain general strength and stamina begins next week.  So, maybe I will make the bloggers cruise NEXT year....... instead of a Life Flight ride to da 'burgh. Thanks again to Sir Gore for keeping you posted.

BTW, I am trying to find his original post... I still get lost in here.... lol

So glad you are back.  There was a little something special missing around here while you were away.  And it must be such a relief to be home with your family again.  I can't imagine what you have all been through.

Yes ~it's great to have you back, and we want to hear all about it.

At least I do. Everyone else can skim by it if they don't want to know. :)

Wow, Ami. Hooray for our health care system. Pretty amazing, huh? I had an emergency surgery at Hamot in September that made me so thankful for just how well we do have it here, but that was nothing compared to some of the life-saving technology you just received, including the chopper ride and the Star-Wars sleep chamber. Not to mention the constant care and attention we get from the medical providers, who tended to our every need.

When Gore posted those pics of your hi-tech bed, I think we all gasped at just how serious your condition was. It's really, really good to see you back here posting again.

Zip..I was in bed last night trying to figure out how to write about this adventure... I think I am going to do a blog, and I will let you know the link when it gets started. I did too much today and have been worn out. (Finally got tired of watching the Jericho marathon on SyFy with Anakin and am putting some prepared food in the oven. )

BTW, I lost about 30 lbs due to the illness. The other 30 disappeared earllier this year.  :)

Thanks again everyone!  xo
