Mark your calendars....the Harlem Wizards Entertainment Show Basketball Team
will be at Allegheny College's Wise Center on Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30.  The
tricks, dunks, and humor provide a great night of family fun as the Wizards take
on the home team; Crawford County Teachers.  Profits from the event benefit the
Blue Streak Restoration Fund, to help bring the Blue Streak back on track at
Conneaut Lake Park.
Tickets are $8 for students/$10 for adults when purchased in advance, and
$10/$12 at the door if available.  Tickets are available online through
www.conneautlakepark.com and at locations listed.

The Wisw Center is NICE. Top of the line facility. That's a bargain for entertainment, I would be there if I was there.

For the sake of the cause, i just hope this doesn't involve one of those event promoters/fundraisers who come into town (or just work from a phone bank in utah) and leave the sponsor with a token 10 or 20 percent of the proceeds.

I can personally assure you that the host will receive much more than 20%....I am from CL and live close by.  I work for the Wizards, and I'm giving all my pay for the event to the fundraiser as well.  The Wizards are based in NJ, but play games around the country.  There are several schools in Erie county that have had games...in fact the same team will be in Union City on Monday, and the other team will be in North East on the same day as the Meadville game. 
Lots of local love surrounding this event, so you can feel good about supporting it.

DO NOT wait to get tickets; the Wise center isn't any bigger than a high school gym, and this event is including teachers from 3 school districts.  There may not be tickets available at the door.

....Would like to, but I've sort of stretched it out for the Tammy show, and am thinking by the 19th Big Red will be tooling the scenic back byways of the deep south on its way to the Emerald Coast, slowly headin' in a semi-westerly direction back towards the high plains non-drifting bunker....
