I think Giant Eagle only lets you drink a couple inside.

I think married men will take advantage of it... Wife shopping and they, well tipping.... maybe their wives don't allow them to go to bars LOL.... Look, where there is a will, there is a way.... I found out early on in life...it is not good to go grocery shopping all buzzed up. You end up buying strange crap sometimes ...
And who am I to ASS U ME that it will just be the Guys  :gulp:

Its an interesting notion. I personally on;y recall one grocery store selling beer in their dine-in facilities. That would be Bristol Farms... a very nice store. I wasn't really a big deal. I never saw anybody hanging out there just drinking. In fact, I don't think they sold very much beer or wine despite its availability.  Now if people are that hard up for places to go drinking it may be an option, just I just don't see it being an issue.

What I see it being is a precedent, which might be what the powers really want to avoid.

Well let's put a "SUDS 'N' DUDS" in the valley... a Laundrymat that serves alcohol.... how long will it be before someone thinks that a dryer ride would be a good idea???  ::)   I remember a T-shirt.... "Instant Asshole... just add alcohol". Something to that I think.

Rare to never around here. But I was pleasantly surprised to find one with beer once somewhere out in the upper midwest at the end of a long day of vacation driving when no other restaurants were open.
