A question I haven't heard in a long time.... In the past, my better half screamed at me because of all the money I spent on calls to Washington DC and Harrisburg she decided to get the Verizon program, no tolls anywhere in the USA. I talk anywhere to anyone... no long distant.

I found it interesting years ago...call from Sharon to Greenville area was a toll call but less than a mile from here inside the Sharpsville line.... not.

I also never really thought about Cell Phone coverages over areas...

It's a long distance charge from Conneaut Lake to Greenville too.  I guess the line has to be drawn some where.

The reason I'm asking is because I can get a phone number in Erie or  Titusville but not Meadville

We have VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) from a company called Phone Power. Good service, good clarity, great price. (Same idea as Vonage but cheaper) Can call anywhere in the US for one flat rate.
