OK... "NOT" My bad but if you caught it... you understood what I meant....

I think you might want to reword your seventh paragraph.

I also keep reading that the investigation is regarding the actions at the
Treasurers Office.  I thought that this was over the 2009 FAIR money.
Or, am I to assume that it is all considered the same fund?  I always
thought that fair profits were kept separate, in order to do things like get
a new building like the one that collapsed.

Actually, I heard a long time ago that the Treasurers Office does not
report to the Commissioners, they report to Harrisburg.  I agree with
Lock, that there should be more control systems in place, but who has
really dropped the ball here?  If the Treasurer's office does not report to
the Commissioners, maybe their office should be the one to relocate to
the Talon Building.

You can bet that there will be reps. from the AG's office coming in to do
a thorough investigation.  After all, Corbett is trying to rid corruption in
Pennsylvania, we get to see his handsome face on TV.  Did all of you
know that our tax dollars were approved to buy one of the damn machines
that make automatic calls on election day to be sure to get out and vote.
I have to check my clippings, but I think the machine cost ten million
dollars.  (I could be wrong on that, but I will check and let you know).
When our cousin was on trial, I researched everything I could on govt.
decisions how our money is spent, so I have alot of figures that I will
post on another blog much later down the line--like around election day.

I really do not think that people were or are being mean but there might be a reason to taking this to the end. I think this isn't "the end" but a situation begging to be explained. I didn't know the man and everything I do know is in ink or on here.... so.... if I am missing anything.... can the Experts step forward??? So many questions with no answers........

Morris Wade apparently had a reason for setting up surveilance cameras. Let him explain why Fred is no longer with us!
I believe Waid is the rat for setting it all up and then running out on the scam(?) by convieniantly retiring. Should we honor him for his many years of service? NO! He is a real sneak in this deal by setting things up. You can expect to see more backstabbing among the "Good ol boys"in the future.
Run them all off the board Sherm. You are the only decent one on there.

Lifetime, I did not mean to upset you, I really did understand what you meant, but under the topic that
we are discussing, I felt that you would want it worded
the way you meant it.  Sorry again, I won't interfere
with your posts regardless of the sensitive topic we
would be discussing.

I knew Fred, and I know his wife, a wonderful woman.  I feel deeply for her pain and loss.  However, I think it is important for the investigation to continue.  Who else may have been involved?  What procedures need to be changed so that this can't happen (even if it didn't happen?).  We vote for and pay for our elected officials, and trust them with our tax dollars.  They must all be accountable, and we need the means to be assured that they are accountable.

I say we wrap this one up. We have grieving people, a possible investigation, etc. Whatever the outcome I think we should put this to bed. Discussing it here, however titillating it may be, is not productive for any of the things that are happening in the lived of Mr. Wagners family and friends. If or when any official statements are made we can resume discussion.
