Thanks for posting about this.
We've been wanting do "something" up by the Lake - just been looking for "something" to do.

Two questions:
- It's hard to tell from the map but can you actually go up to the Lake from this park - like is there a beach or boardwalk?  I'm not a swimmer but I like to just sit down and look out at the water.

- If you have a booth number or something let us all know so we can look for you.  I kinda remember your stuff from Pumpkinfest last year - coz you mentioned afterwards that you were right outside the gift shop (and I remember a vendor there that may or may not be you) but as much as I like craft shows after a while of looking at a lot of booths I get craft confused.

You can absolutely get to the Lake from the park. As you drive down through the park you will see the duck ponds, the craft show area, and a huge pavillion that overlooks the lake. You can walk right up to the water from the beach or walk along the grassy area and breakwall.

There will be a large white tent that will house the Chinese Auction located by the restrooms, it will have signs on it. My booth will be the 2 khaki colored tents next to that one. The girls in the auction tent can even point you in my direction. My booth consists of lots of embroidered fall and winter shirts, decorated barn stars, some framed items, and what ever else I manage to get done this week.

We have a fantastic selection of crafts this year. I jury the show so I have seen the pictures and I am so pleased with the quality of the items that will be there. We started with 52 vendors last year and have grown to 80 this year.

Well, I just got done making my preliminary walk and measurement for the spaces. I am so thrilled.....actually need 87 spaces this year!!! May have to put my Kettle Korn guy and the local grapes people in the middle and that will completely fill up my outside perimeter!! At this rate I better rethink my layout for next year!

Spaces are all marked out and I actually had to put 8 vendors and the Kettle Korn in the middle! The weather looks like it may be ok so all I can do now is hope for the best!!

Hope to see some of you there! Makes for a really nice ride!

C'mon Locknuts...you can tell them what a great place Lake Shore Park is! Although your cruise got moved back to the area in front of the pavillion for this week. ;)

Grammy probably knows from really doing it but I had it bookmarked on Google Maps so I checked and it says 1 hr 8 min to 1 hr 17 min depending on how you go (US6 vs I90 vs I79-I90)

From Meadville it is probably about an hour. I wouldn't go up 79. The construction on Rt 90 right now is horrible so I prefer the scenic route which is probably shorter anyways. I always go through Conneaut Lake to Linesville, then take the right hand cut off at the Country Fair and stay on that road til you get to Rt 7. Go right (north) to the flashing light in Pierpont then take a left on Rt 167 west. Stay on that til Rt 11, go north all the way to the end of Rt 11. Take a right then the 1st left, you will see the Crafts in the Park sign on the corner. Head straight to the lake following the road that goes down the hill into the park. You can't miss us on your right hand side.

Thank You!  Sunday is my only opportunity to come over - depends on how long lunch with the inlaws takes.

No Problem..Hope you get a chance to come over. Any body looking to stop by and introduce yourself...my booth is the double tent right next to the Chinese Auction tent. I would love to meet some of the people that we chat with. Just hoping for good weather now.

We went to this show today and had a great time.  And I got to meet Grammy.
There were a lot of vendors offering a wide variety of things.  Lots of clever things, nice jewelry, etc..  We all enjoyed looking around at all of the different stuff.  The Kettle corn was really good - we even brought home a bag.  I was thrilled that there was a vendor for handmade soaps and lotions - I live for that stuff - so I brought home a big bag of that stuff too :)
The park itself is gorgeous.  The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks.  The pavilion on the lake was very nice to sit in and look out over the lake.
If you're thinking about heading over on Sunday I would recommend it.

Thanks PK for the kind words. It was a really great weekend...weather was perfect and the crowd was wonderful. I had received a few calls for directions while I was working the show so I hope that those people managed to follow my directions.

We had a great weekend and look forward to next year!
