state street building renovation
« on: September 12, 2010, 11:30:05 PM »
anyone know what's going in the mini plaza on state street across from inn 62? It had been a drug-rehab place and previously an armed forces recruiting office. There's been construction going on for months, but no indication of what it's gonna be.

Not sure what it will be but maybe it is being renovated to offer up. It did look dumpy before and being split level...it might be set up Handicap access which means something more public. There is quite a bit of parking.... so with new looks and what it will offer... who knows.

The handicap thing is a given for anything commercial if it gets renovated. Does the city have anything online that lists permits?

Oops, that should have been Hermitage shouldn't it. I just checked the city site. There's nothing there about it I can find.

...Where's...JimV...he may know... :) ...
:D :D :D
Rumor mill says Dallas Hartman (the local attorney with the obnoxious TV ads) bought it for law offices.  I assume his existing Hermitage office will move there.  Unfortunately, since researching deeds on the county website is a PITA now, I don't have much to back that up!
