MEADVILLE -- A Meadville woman faces charges after police said she urinated on food at a Vernon Township convenience store over the weekend.

State police said Carrie Ann Harkness, 23, entered the walk-in freezer at Country Fair, 18163 Conneaut Lake Road, early Saturday morning. Store employees asked her to leave, but she refused.

State police said Harkness then urinated in the freezer, destroying food valued at more than $500.

She was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

And now . . . the other version of the story . . .

Apparently - after drinking a whole bunch, the actor to wit did enter the wrong part of the store thinking it was the restroom whereupon the actor did pass out, later wetting her pants thusly soiling said foodstuffs in the freezer. Had the staff of the store NOT found her in the freezer, she may have frozen to death.

So - folks can draw their own conclusions from that.

This is what happens when there are Christmas parties paid by the
employer, with an open bar for everyone.  It just takes one person
like this one to have an employer put an end to the parties, or change
them, all sorts of scenarios.  Now, I am ASSUMING she was coming
from a company party to be that trashed.  If she wasn't at a party,
there could be a bar owner and a bartender who would have been in
a lot of trouble if she would have not been found in the freezer in time.
Being a bar owner these days creates much stress for the owner.

I talked to her briefly. She's pretty upset about the whole thing. said somebody slipped something to her and she has no real recollection of anything.

I hope she refrains from those types of situations in the future! Sometimes it's the hard lessons that teach us the most thoroughly.

I pulled up the article and picture on "The smoking gun", from the CLP
topic, and read the article.  and the article did state that someone slipped her a roofie???  So, in that case, I absolutely agree that she needs to spend more time with her two kids, and leave the adult kids
to find new playmates.
