Rick Santorum on the ballot in 2012?

Fox News suspends Gingrich, Santorum contracts for 2 months
NEW YORK — Fox News Channel says it has suspended contributors Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum for two months as the men explore a possible White House run.
The network, in an on-air announcement Wednesday by Bret Baier, said the contracts for the two men will be suspended until May 1. Their contracts will be terminated unless they notify the network by then that they are not running for president.
Neither Gingrich, the former House speaker, nor former Pennsylvania senator Santorum has declared a candidacy. But both have signaled that they are seriously considering a run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. The news network has other potential candidates on its payroll, including Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee but their status was not addressed Wednesday.
Lifetime:
As far as Santorum is concerned.... As a Veteran he has no backers in most of my circle. It goes back to a face to face we had with him on an Ash Wednesday many years ago and his attitude and answers. He blew off Veterans Concerns and... when the National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition asked me to present their Endorsement to Santorum I had to decline. They have since found out why I declined and I don't think the Endorsement will come his way from them, again. All know I am GOP but Santorum is NOT my guy or that of many that I know, in the Veterans Community. Veterans are not in his "Speed Dial".

Santorum was highly touted on the old Hey Martha forums and there was a dude (maybe not a dude) who was very hot for Rick on there at that time. Called him a thoroughbred a one point. I just assumed the guy was a log cabin republican. (Which would be ironic as hell seein' as gay folks named something after him . . . you can check his last name in the Urban Dictionary if you want - but DON'T DO IT!)
Santorum for President? I'm sure Barack Obama would LOVE to run against him.

MT, That was someone called SS????. Probably still on suicide watch!

Both santorum and gingrich are at the extreme end of their political spectrum. It's not inconceivable that one could pick up a Republican nomination
Even in this day and age they couldn't swing centrist enough to win the general election -- unless, as in the last election, the ultra conservatives and wackos turn out again as a block and everyone else sits on their hands then wonders what hit them. (Let's just hope they aren't hit with a blob of santorum)
