downtown Meadville Chinese restaurant

They are closing today.  Couldn't make a go of it - she is moving back to Florida.  I enjoyed their shrimp, sad to see it go.

I went there once the last time it changed hands and wasn't very impressed either.  The food was mediocre at best.

Lock you are soooo bad.   :rofl: :nono: ...lol..... Anyways I love the Chinese Buffet across from the Days Inn, never ever had a bad experience there. I never was to fond of the one on Park Ave so I will not miss it..Wonder how the one at the Crawford Landing is doing?

The one on the Crawford Landing is excellent.  Quality food, good service.  Another type of genre totally - since it is not buffet.  Don't know how well they are doing since I don't go to that part of town too often.  I am one of the people who refuses to walk into Wal Marts.

For me unless the circumstances are extraordinary buffet=no way. Especially Chinese food.

That and the buffet thing just doesn't work me from a umm.... cleanliness point of view I suppose.

Well NP I have been to a lot of Buffet's and the 101 Chinese Buffet is by far one of the best, fresh HOT food and very very clean, like I said I have never had a bad experience and I am a very pickey person when it comes to cleanliness. Talking about dirty Buffet's, The Golden Corral in Erie is by far the most uncleanliness Buffet I have ever been to...

I have never been in a Golden Corral. They have them down here too. From the pictures it looks like a typical all you can graze place with nothing but the most sub-standard of oils permeating each and every item in the wide variety of troughs they have. I bet they have all manner of pancreas taxing deserts there too.

Crawford Landing is right across from Wal Marts - they have a Sears - Subway and Central Tractor is next door.

The Buffet I love the best is the Old Country Buffet in the Summit Town Plaza, never ever have I had a bad experience there. The place is nice and clean and the food is D'Licious   :P :drooling: . The price is really reasonable as well... :thumbsup:

New owners - lots of work going on in the restaurant.  It is now called Grace Asian restaurant.  I wish them luck.
