The Wrecking Ball Incident
« on: July 10, 2007, 08:28:16 AM »
I was informed last night by my folks that my father was in the barber shop at North Main and Baldwin Street yesterday when the wrecking ball rolled by. He said it was quite a sight! As pathetic as it may seem, I almost wish I could have seen it myself.

I saw the wrecking ball story made it onto CNN this morning.  A 15 second spot showing the ball sitting in the trunk of the car.  No mention of Meadville.

I'm not surprised. CNN is pretty lean with their stories, especially whre detail is concerned. I would think they would at least mention where it happened though.

The story has changed a little bit as the morning rolls on.  Check out Robin & Co. on Headline News.  It should roll past a couple more times.  No mention at all....not even Pennsylvania.  Just a small college town.

I'm sorry but this is too funny... so long as no one got hurt anyway. But like I said, only in Meadville.

Well as of now Meadville is up to an article count of 226 on the google news. The incident has made newspapers as far away as England and Australia. Well, people know where Meadville is now.

Whose printing the tee shirts up?  ;D

Okay, we have to spin the wrecking ball incident into reasons why people who went to MASH should be on a web site and go to a reunion in 2 years...

let me think this one through

I'm still LOL on this one though. Now I gotta do a google myself. Better be sure I have kleenex so my make up doesn't run down my face!!!!
