NP,
We were there for Thanksgiving and had 5 inches on snow, kinda caught us off guard.  Every 6 weeks we ride up for the weekend to check the place out.  Hell it is so cold and windy it blew you and Lock all the way to Florida!  Lucky guys, it just blew me to east PA.

Thanks for the ghost show update!  I love them!

I've stayed in the Riverside once.  I didn't notice anything weird and never felt anything weird the whole time I was there.  I have heard stories about the third floor that guests don't have access to anymore.

There was a fraternity house in Edinboro that I swear was haunted.  It used to be the old post office.  I have pictures with strange spots of fuzzy areas in the mix of perfectly fine pictures.  The guys that lived there talked about strange noises ALL the time.  If any of them stayed there over the summer for class, they really got to hear it because they were the only ones there!  I always felt strange in that house, even before I was told about the ghosts!

I probably was there with the wrong person!  The ghosts should have taken him out! haha

My sister and I both agree that the Elks Lodge is haunted.  We both worked there and have some weird experiences and feelings in there.  My sister has even thought that my dad still hangs around there every so often!  Weird!

I have had quite a few paranormal experiences at Greendale Cemetary... I have felt cold air in the middle of the summer, heard groaning from behind the rhododendrons and once saw a small knome-like creature that scurried back into the ravine after scaring the living daylights out of me & my buddies.

Almost ruined the buzz...

Pig Hill is definitely haunted by a family of pig people who were caught in a burning house...

Yes Greendale was haunted by "The Beast" of a different sort back in the day! And the pig people - wow they were scary!  Just about as scary as the He-She man on 99!!

The He-She man used to live on 99 between Venango and Edinboro - closer to Venango.  The "story" was that his wife was killed by a driver on their wedding night or something to that effect.  Anyway his house was hidden behind an eight foot tall fence that just went across the front of the yard and not down the sides.   - okay this part is going to sound even more strange but I swear it is true because I know someone that interviewed him for a research paper in the psych dept at Edinboro!  He had a long telescope that he kept behind the fence.  When a car would come, he would look through the telescope to see if there were any men in the car.  If there were, he would hide behind the fence.  If it was only females in the car, he would stand at the edge of the fence WITH A WHITE WEDDING DRESS ON AND STAGE MAKEUP!   He didn't smile or wave - he just sort of stood there and fanned out the dress a bit and had a morbid sort of look on his face.  I can honestly say I did see him.  He creeped me out bad!  I think he must have died in the 90's at some point because when I commuted to Edinboro I never saw him.  I'll see if I can find anything out about him and post it.

Kimmi,,, wasn't that guy in Mill Village. I used to see him when I was driving to Jamestown on my job. I had a guy riding with me one time and he didn't see him so I turned around and drove by slow but did not pull in his drive or he would have hidden. My passenger saw him and couldn't believe it. ;D

I don't know where Mill Village is.  I just remember it was north of Venango with French Creek to the right and his place on the left. CREEPY!

Yeh Kimmi,,,, Mill Village is that little four corners with the blinker light. A bar-restaurant on one corner and a hardware store or it might be an antique store on another corner. That's all I remember about it. Ya blink and ya miss the whole town!
But that is where this guy lives; on the left just going into Mill Village.

I think that is still considered Venango, but I could be wrong.  Anyway I called some people who have relatives out there and no one could remember his name.  I wanted to google it and see if anyone had written anything about him.

Lock and I are the only ones that know about this?  Random!
