Pool Issues
TiFeMb:
So the Mrs. decided to get the pool spruced up for the season & while cleaning the sides RIPPED THE LINER! So my Sunday (and a few more days to come I might add) was spent tearing down the pool so I can install the new ($229) liner and add the 15,000 gallons that watered our neighbors yard.
While I was at it, me & my son (4.5 yrs) cleaned out the filter & rebuilt it from the inside out. There was some serious green funk in there so it had to be done eventually. I even had to haul out the stairs & clean off all the mold we couldn't get to over the winter.
Was I a good husband? I didn't yell, bitch or grumble. Just started working...
I will send pictures after I get the water back in.

Our pool is pretty green too. Time to get out the shock. In another month I'll drag the solar blanket out and stick it on. Pools are great for the few months you get to use them, other wise they're a PITA. If you have to get a new filter ,get a sand filter. Much less screwing around and lower operating costs. And they work great!

Good boy! My hubby hated taking care of our pool. So much he never did it. Then we moved here and i gave it away to our neighbors. I have a feeling i'm gonna miss it.
