I don't like all the BS associated with some of the new gadgetry. (Crap - there's a statement that'll make me sound old.) I mean - it's nice and all - but I wanna listen to music, not sync my players with some techno-douche in Germany ya know? I wanna download quickly and be able to work the easily used buttons without scrolling through 10 screens to find what I wanna do.

I like my Sansa clip. Simple and easy to use.

I like my Woot special sansas.  One for each kid, one for me for music then one for audio bible to listen to when hubby is bugging me.  Got another one on the way as well, lol.

Thinking back to when MP3's first were introduced followed by napster and all of the other sites; there was more effort involved in pirating the music than there was in buying it. Now, not so much but the newer feature laden devices require a certain "intimacy" with them to get them work for you.

Still using the origonal ipod shuffle.  I think they were recalled?  Mine works fine.  Play, stop, pause.  Nothing fancy.
