What made you laugh today?
« on: August 09, 2008, 01:55:48 PM »
The conversation in my van this morning went as follows:

(9 year old)  "Mom, does flea bites hurt?"

(Me)  "Not really, they feel like mosquito bites."

(9 year old) "I almost had a fire ant bite me once."

(4 year old)  "Do you know what's worse than a fire ant?"

(9 year old)  "What?"

(4 year old)  "Your farts."

Gotta love being a mom... ;)

Good one.  Gotta love being a mom indeed.

What made me smile today?

Watching my daughters face glow as she chatted nonstop about all her guy adventures and all that she has been learning lately.

Watching my son sit in the pilots seat in a KC-10 with an oxygen mask on.

Spending the evening on South St. in Philly.  Had some great Indian food!

I had many smiling moments today.......I'm beat.

I was at Bath and Body Works today and the sales girl Emily was literally jumping and leaping as she spoke to me about what was on sale.  I thought I was going to be in some sort of candid camera TV show.  She was so weird!

Well, I too occasionally get excited when there is a good new scent.  ;)

Maybe that was it!  I was giving off a level of excitement when I found out that hand soaps were 5 for $15 or 7 for $20!  ;D

How does one identify unique smells at Bath and Body Works after being inside for more than two minutes? My nose goes on overload and shuts down pretty quickly when I go into one of those places.

As my 4 grandsons are riding in the truck with me on different ocassions I try to point out some of the things that used to be around when I was a little kid. Who lived on this farm and that store that was owned by their relatives.Interesting points that they can relate to. They are 5-11 (4 of them).
I mentioned to them as we went past an old abandonded dairy that Mr so an so owned that dairy and he "peddled" milk all over our area.
All was quiet for a moment and then my 11 year old asked.
On a bicycle?

 ::) I lost it! ;D
