Fowlers Taffy has been coming to the fair ever since I can remember. They were originally out of Florida somewhere I think.

i think we are going to go up tonight. mr bh is going to work in his shop saturday so tonight will be it if we are going to go.  it looks like the weather turned out great for the fair this week didnt it?

CLW, my bartender's daughter worked at the fair all week with the horses. She was mighty grumpy when we talked with her on the phone...maybe the horse flies were getting to her. I think it's a nice thing that the kids go up there and do stuff like that!

Lock, where you run into the Who pack at?  (He never tells me anything.)

CLW,,,ran into them at the 4H food stand. They were having brunch or lunch there and we came in with another couple that got breakfast. Wife and I had coffee as we had already had our breakfast. Very good prices at the 4H.

We eat at the 4-H stand all week.  Can't beat their prices.  Tonight was open face roast beef sandwichs with gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, dessert and choice of iced tea or lemonade.  $6 for the daily special.  I keep the cooler stocked with tons of drinks and fruit and healthy pickens.  I'm glad it's coming to a close soon.

MsP - There are a lot of wonderful teenage girls up there who are so helpful with the younger kids.  My 10 y.o. has learned a lot from them!
