Very important meeting if we expectto be heard on this matter. A very big impact on the lakeland area if this becomes law. A new 1.6 million dollar facility was just built there and it will be a total lose to the state and taxpayers if nobody comes to "feed the fish"!

350 people show their support for bread over pellets.  It now becomes a geese problem.  Hmmm....

You mean they aren't smart enough to change the Canadian Geese migration patterns?  Getting rid of bread will surely do that! Right?

I'm amazed that 350 people showed up for this.  I'd like to see this kind of turn out for more important things in our area  In any area.

I understand what you are saying Cindy but I wonder how many of those people would lose money if people stopped coming to Linesville?  Maybe those were gas station attendants or store owners.  I have no idea what is in Linesville anymore, but I would venture to guess the local grocery sells a lot of bread each week.

You are right though, people should be up at arms about more things than just this.

Oh I know!  I do.  I'm just saying that is a hell of a turn out!  You don't see that around here for anything!  There are sooooo many things that this kind of attention could help but people don't make the time.  Maybe Linesville is tighter a community than I know.  I really saw it as such.  Lived there for three years after spending six years in high school there.  But things change.

Still amazed though.

Maybe it's because their supply of cheap stale bread will dry up and they will have to eat pellets just like the fish!! ;D ;D
