I love this place!! I did my student teaching there.  I would go back there in a heart beat.  Of course I say that now because it isn't winter!  I was there for the beginning part of the fall semester so it was gorgeous!

Anyone remember it as a swimming hole?  My dad used to tell me he would go there to swim as a kid.

We went there for a weekend field trip when I was in junior high.

One of the older teachers took us for a walk and showed us the remains of an old tile swimming pool. It had obviously not been used for decades, and that was in the late 70s......

It was a cool trip,

I would love to be able to work in an environmental educational center like that but the money keeps me in public school.  Did I just say that?  ;D
