Say it ain't so! Politicians diverting funds? It's actually pretty nauseating.

One of the reasons why I think term limits should be a constitutional mandate at all levels of government. Pretty deep rabbit hole that one. So - if sh*t like that is going on at the State level in podunk Beaver County, what do you suppose happens in D.C.?

that scenario not only can go up the ladder it can go down too i think.

it happens in peoples personal lives, wives and husbands lying about finances, extramarital affairs, its a grand lack of integrity and moreso a lack of moral anchor to pin that integrity on.   ... even people not married but otherwise "hooked up. it happens in business, it happens in local community organizations, wider political organizations, gov't...  hollywood... even between so called friends, or within families.

its sometimes easy to see corruption on a big scale and point fingers when "big shots" are involved or large sums of money are  easily fingered.  many a child's tender heart is troubled everyday by the same types of corruption that happen inside their own families daily. certainly on a tiny scale, but no less important.  those children may grow up to believe its ok to run over people to get what you want, that ideas are more valuable than people....  it all starts somewhere doesnt it?

im blathering...

BH, you're not blathering.  You're absolutely right!  We have enjoyed pinning the badge of unethical behavior on politicians, but it is rampant inevery nook and cranny of society.  We do it to them because they are in the public eye, put in office by us, etc. but us, our friends, or neighbors, our co-workers......we all know people like this.  Several truth be told.
