Well he was one of the cool kids in school. Me - I was not.

I know he signed my yearbook, I think mine is in the attic too. I may have to go dig it up later.

he says he didnt think he was one of the cool kids, thought you were. my opinion would be that he probably paid no attention to status, thats just how he is.  its funny, i would decribe him as a transparant, decent guy with no adgenda, he really gets along with most people. doesnt play mind games, doesnt know what those are....  people just like him coz he's a nice guy i guess, that probably explains why he was in beta and alpha ha?

No, he never had any agenda as far as I could tell. He was himself, which is something many of us don't figure out how to do until much later in life. I tried to fit in but never really got accepted by any group. But that was high school and things were different then.

nightmare, i think his brushes with death from the age of three and throughout his lfe have given his a wisdom most of us dont ever have to develop.  he told me once that right before his surgery at 14 he heard them talking and said "this kid wont make it to 20",  he didnt care  much about anything  for awhile, then when he turned 20, and guessed he better get serious, then he met me :)   he is the most decent guy i have ever known.

i was almost invisable in high school and since i was from (insert tiny town here) that is exceedingly not cool.  that stuff matters not a hoot in the real world.
