Ready for snow?
« on: October 22, 2008, 07:21:35 AM »
I'm not! I've had the woodstove going for the last three days. Feels nice in the house but outside to me it feels like a very sharp wind.
I'm trying to get ready for the weekly breakfast with the "Old Geezers" as we are so affectionately referred as. I guess we dubbed it on ourselves. About 14 couples from the church do this every wednesday morning at Russells Restaurant south of Linesville.
So,,,,everyone ,have a great cold day and it will be spring before you know it. Yeah right! ;D

I hate this shit.  But my nephew (24 and has never seen snow) is just praying to see the white stuff before he heads back to Austin Monday.  I think we have him talked into coming back in January.

Well for us people who love the sunshine, warmth and the out doors, we have only 147 days til spring  :frustrated:, and about 180 before the weather breaks  :wahoo: before Lock and us guys can break out the toys... So its shaping up to be a LONG winter... Think I'll move down in Kimmi's area for a few months...Got a spare room Kimmi? ;)

I start breaking out the mittens when the temps dip into the 60's!

I can't believe I ever survived a Meadville winter!

I actually miss the snow, but not the 40 degree freezing rain for days on end.
