Im reading the books you gave me.  Love it so far.  I have to read the books first.  Question:  Do the shows follow the books fairly close?  Is a book = to a season?  I'll be reading these for a while (cause they're HUGE!) but really want to start on the shows after I finish the first book.

One book to a season
The shows follow the books almost exactly.
I have the audiobooks if anybody wants them.
I haven't had a change to read them but my wife raves about them. Said it's the best series of books shes ever read. Book three has been reported to be the best so far.

I'm actually going to get those books, need to read more non technical stuff.

Where is the show? HBO? Showtime? Netflix?
