Out like a lion
« on: April 01, 2011, 07:56:01 AM »
Okay, we have a great beginning to March here, but yesterday it all went to hell.  It started Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at my house. It's been a while since we've had any weather this rough in the area. But, here's some pictures of the aftermath.

We're fine. We just had a fair amount of debris in the yard which I still have to finish picking up. Our garbage can evidently blew away but one of our neighbors retrieved it and set it by the garage. We still don't know who to thank.

It was he fifth rainiest  day on record in the area. We have eleven confirmed tornados, all F1's, not the REAL tornadoes like the midwest and plains states get. There were gusts of up to 85 MPH reported regularly during the day. One of the people at work lost some screening around their pool, some patio furniture and a 50' oak tree. It was a freaky day.
