About those 55, maybe they are US servicemen, maybe they actually were sent to the wrong country........

The remains of 55 Korean War US MIAs repatriated from North Korea are in the six hearses seen departing the flight line following their arriving at Osan AB, South Korea yesterday,

Let me add this to the mix.... In the past...remains have been turned over that were.. FILED ON, and EVEN pieces GLUED together. They even "found" a pilots remains in an Infantry position?? This gives us the idea that those remains were warehoused for YEARS even decades. We HOPE they can be identified as AMERICAN remains from the War.We have several tools at CILHI at Hickam/Pearl HI and OFFUT AFB NEB that are new... One is that WWII and Korean Era Service People were x-rayed upon induction for TB. The x-ray was of the full chest ...neck down. It has been found out that we not only have several types of DNA ( Y-DNA, mtDNA, Nuclear DNA...) to work with if possible as well as dental and even healed  bones... We now have one more... It seems that EVERYONE'S Clavicle is as specific as fingerprints to an individual. So..comparing them to the x-rays may also help identify and hopefully offer closure to a family. We shall see what we shall see.

Inflation at 2.9% highest since 6 years ago and tariffs adding $7k to a new house cost.  Wait to these impacts start kicking in to the average consumer.

Love your efforts to show your points... requires a little thinking and no need for "talking points".
On the Autos... I have one that I call "Mustang Dollars"...
!964 (1/2) Mustang... NEW and state of the art for the day... was, in some markets.. sold for $1964.00. Today the average cost is about $28K+)

So..
Average annual income was $ 5,880.00.. today ( today about $35K +)
Average Home cost was about $20, 983.00 ( today about $160K +).
Now I went to the net for approx. numbers and I see this..
Let us say the Mustang was $2k in 1964... 2018..$27K
Say the average income was say, $6k... the mustang in 64 cost 1/3 the Annual income..That would mean to buy the Low end Mustang today is close to $30k... Using that figure.. that would mean to maintain the same level the person's income has to be close to $90K/annual. ( I don't know many of my friends who make that much in this day and age.
Now the house... say $21K+ in 1964...today say $160K
Figure in 1964 the home cost was 3-4 times annual...so using the same measure.. even at 4X.. that would be $84K for an average home ...today..
The way I see it, we screwed ourselves into paying MORE today above what was the average in 1964 or so. We became willing to pay more so the market reflects that willingness to part ways with our $$$Sometimes we have people who have more money than brains (aside from Politicians LOL). Back when Dodge started building their "Vette Killer"... the Viper, they said the cost for this Road Monster was to be about $30K. What happened was some of those overpaid yuppies wanted on the list to receive one and said they were willing to pay $50k for a $30K car...Sooo... now the $30K car turned into a $50K car for ...EVERYONE. Not bad that something became 2/5 more in cost and the first product hadn't even hit the showroom..
My point... my opinion.. with our C.O.L. is partially the fault of... US. Refer to the housing market crash where people ended up..upside down because of a value readjustment to the value of their McMansions the overpaid for in the first place as well as the ability to get a loan for them. Did we learn... I think not. This whole ride is not over until (maybe) we get more "crashes" in the future.

We need to shop more carefully..be it me buying my gas in Ohio instead of PA..sometimes $.50 cheaper... Use Coupons and not always shop at places like Giant Eagle and go to Aldi's or Save a Lot. God love a low maintenance spouse who goes to Thrift Shops and scours the rack for NAME BRAND/HIGH END clothes...either slightly or never worn and...even with the original High End store tags still on them. Hmmm say $5 as opposed to the tag..$80 or more..

Remember...this is MY opinion...

...the Dems want your vote-

-New Hampshire among the highest SAT scores in the country
-New Hampshire has a higher gun ownership rate than most states, but has the lowest homicide rate in the country, and, is one-tenth the Washington DC rate
-New Hampshire has one of the lowest incarceration rates in the country.
-Most New Hampshire residents are working, with the state having one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country

....but it is obviously a highly bigoted and deeply racist state, and it must be changed-.

You proved my point and probably did not intend to.  As you note in your chart it includes median income and the progress that has been made over 40 years.    Americans have made no real progress against inflation in 4 decades. With the inflation rate at 2.9% this past 12 months this year will be no exception as most have not gotten greater than a 2.9% raise.

Nice diversion.  If you look at what is causing the recent inflation increase you would see it is most likely not driven by demand, in 2017 US gas consumption actually dropped for the first time in 5 years.  Maybe that proposed 25 cent gasoline tax by Trump to pay for infastructure might add to it a bit more to inflation in the future......

Year-on-year, prices rose faster for fuel oil (30.8 percent from 25.3 percent in May); gasoline (24.3 percent from 21.8 percent); medical care services (2.5 percent from 2.3 percent); food (1.4 percent from 1.2 percent).

Lie after lie after lie....... and most of his supporters are buying it.  Trumpards are fitting for them.  He is destabilizing democracy as we speak.  Democrats give out handouts and they cry fowl, Trump wants to hand farmers $12 billion of taxpayer money due to tariffs he created and it is OK.    Expensive votes he is buying.
